A stone splits open on Flower Fruit Mountain and you climb out of it, awake, with no mother among the monkeys who come to look. You play the stone monkey. The troop promises kingship to whoever can jump through the waterfall and come back, and behind the water you find an iron bridge and a cavern big enough for every family on the mountain. They crown you Handsome Monkey King. Then an old ape stops dancing to catch his breath and says no cave bars the door against death.
