NetFable is open to read. Some stories are rated 18 for explicit sexual content — opening one asks you to confirm your age, and by continuing you are stating that you are 18 or over. Everything else needs no confirmation.
Nothing. Every story is free to read. There is no subscription and no purchase, and reading needs no account. Guest personas can be saved on your device; signing in lets you save personas privately to your account.
Stories on NetFable are licensed from their rights holders. They are fiction, and any resemblance to real people is not intended. You are welcome to read them here; you are not licensed to copy, republish or redistribute them.
You can turn your own text into a story here. Only submit writing you have the right to use — your own work, public-domain text, or material you are licensed to adapt. By sending a story for review you give NetFable permission to publish it on this site with your handle as credit; you keep every other right, including the right to publish it elsewhere. Nothing is paid for submissions.
Every submitted story is read by a person before it is published, and we may decline one or remove a published one — for rights reasons, for content or rating problems, or because it is not ready. A declined story stays yours: it returns to your drafts with a note, and you can change it and send it again.
NetFable is offered as it is. Stories may be added, changed or removed, and the site may be unavailable at times. Guest reading progress is stored in your browser; clearing site data can remove it. Signed-in saves can be restored on another device after they have successfully synced. Older saves may resume from a chapter boundary because they did not record every choice.
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page shows the last revision.
