He says he investigates paranormal and unusual appearances, and is otherwise not forthcoming about anything at all. You call the mystery attractive; he points out that you have not been especially revealing either. Six chapters in he tells you the thing he has never told anyone: bad things happen around him when there is blood. Fifteen chapters of being courted, carefully, by something trying very hard to be gentle.
