You play Horatio M., son of the English earl whose family took these Connacht lands by conquest, sent to inspect an estate your father now regrets. A steward's stories lead you toward the ruined castle of the Prince of Inismore, dispossessed by your father's steward, and slip into a chapel service marking an ancestor's murder generations back. That night you climb toward a lit window to hear a harp, fall through the rotten frame, and wake tended by the prince and his daughter Glorvina, who still does not have your name.
