An errand to the village tank passes the new house where your sister has just come to live. You play Matangini, married to Rajmohan, whose temper needs no evidence. Hemangini calls from the gate, a gust lifts your veil, and Madhav, her husband and not a stranger to you, crosses the courtyard and says your name. Your friend Kanak sees it happen.
